The top 1% of Americans control 23.5% of all the country’s income, the highest share controlled by the top 1% since 1928. http://www.stanford.edu/group/scspi/ The research also shows that in recent decades we have seen a clear increase in the difference between CEO compensation and that of the average worker in manufacturing or “production.” CEOs in 1965 made 24 times more than the average production worker, whereas in 2009 they made 185 times more. http://www.stanford.edu/group/scspi/cgi-bin/fact2.php Looks like we are headed to a corporatacracy.

This research would suggest that the middle class is getting squeezed and there isn’t an end in sight. This recent recession has driven unemployment up to 10% and Federal Reserve has injected $600 billion to help stimulate this economy. With this recent recession, I’ve discovered that the U.S. economy is changing and we must change with it. Some of the leading experts have estimated that the middle class will be gone in approximately 15 years.

To you success,
